Unveiling the Truth About Healing: Separating Fact from Fiction
Do you ever reflect on the past, only to cause old feelings of hurt and disappointment to resurface? More importantly, do you hold the belief that healing is a process that takes years to achieve? If so, you are not alone. This piece will explore the truth about healing.
The Truth About Healing
Healing is not a long, drawn-out process that takes years to transcend. A shift of consciousness frees you from conditioning and habitual thoughts of seeing things from a limited perspective. In other words, it’s not a matter of fixing things but of seeing things rightly. Hence the only difference between a problem and a solution is consciousness.
It all boils down to perspective. Much like the old saying goes, one can easily see the glass as half full or half empty it all depends on perspective. We are emanations of the Divine, spiritual beings who are whole and complete from the moment we enter this incarnation.
Nothing can be added to you to enhance your individualized perfection. From entering this realm, we were molded and conditioned to the world's ways. Only somewhere along the way the tenants of lack, limitation, insufficiency, and traumas, were instilled along the way, shifting you to forget who you are. Being that we are whole, complete, and equipped with everything we could possibly need, or any belief that affirms otherwise, limits our ability to stand in your power.
Taking Your Power Back
Admittingly it is impossible to change the past. However, you can change the way you look at it. Beyond everything you'd like to believe, we have the power to change; we only have the power to change ourselves. Each day, we acquire new insights and wisdom; as we evolve into new versions of ourselves.
Thankfully, hindsight is 20/20, as we can recall the past events precisely as they were and reframe how we perceive them in a way that shifts past hurts into a blessing. It's not so much the memory of what caused us pain but our interpretations and judgments about it.
We are all different from who we were last year, last week, or even yesterday, as the dawn of each new day births a new iteration. Many of us have done and continue to do the very best with our knowledge, experience, and understanding that we had at the time. Remember, if we knew better, we would have done better.
Practice grace, forgive, and liberate yourself from the years of heartache and pain by reframing past experiences into a new perspective that reveals the underlying blessings. In our ability to see the blessing lies our power to open the door to see our journey in a new light.
Practice
Gently pause, breathe, disconnect from all active thinking, and notice what passes through your awareness. Release any judgment, self-critique, or attachments to the past, and allow yourself to feel good that emerged from the experience. Remember, you are not a victim but a divine emanation of the Most High.
If you observe thoughts not aligned with your highest and best good, accept their presence without attempting to force or change it. Affirm "everything is working together for my good," feel and believe that although you may not be able to erase the events of the past, you can lean into the universal truth that we live in a friendly universe. Everything is working together for your highest and best good.
