Mindfulness Demystified: How Changing Your Thoughts Can Change Your Reality?
How to Changing Your Thoughts Can Change Your Life
“Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.” Changing the ways in which we think can be challenging, to say the least.
Ever found yourself wondering what it means? After all, we think and entertain many thoughts over a day, so how does one do it? More importantly, how does one go about accomplishing it?
This post will explore how to use mindfulness practice to change your life.
The Truth of Your Being
There is nothing and no one outside of yourself that can stand in your way of actualizing your true desires. The recognition and acceptance of this universal truth will set you free. Hence the age old saying, “the truth shall set you free.” This especially reigns true with the old saying, “the truth will set you free,” as this “truth” peers beyond an individual's perceived truth and into the power of their spiritual truth self. Likewise, despite what anyone may lead you to believe, the truth of your being extends far beyond any labels, roles, or identities that we could ever place upon ourselves, as we are all spiritual being having a human incarnation.
From the moment we were born into this incarnation, we were already loaded and encoded with everything we could ever wish, hope for, desire, or need, as we have always been and will always be more than enough, just as we are. We need to recognize and accept our innate power. Likewise, we are each an individualized channel for the Divine to continuously express in, as, and through us. This raises an interesting question, how exactly does the truth of our being set us free? So glad you asked.
How The Truth Sets You Free?
As a collective, we have broadly accepted the belief that we must go through tremendous growth, development, and unfoldment to be qualified, or deemed worthy as “enough.” Depending on the individual, this may play out in various ways.
This belief indirectly implies that we must first jump through a series of preverbal hoops to be deemed worthy of envisioning ourselves as worthy. Even then, the bar is continuously being raised, making it that much harder to recognize and accept ourselves just as we are. This has evolved into one of the most prevalent causes of beliefs of that reaffirm lack, limitation, and worthlessness. Thankfully, mindfulness practices support us in shifting beliefs of lack and limitation to acceptance of our worthiness.
Lack and limitation are self-limiting beliefs that block individuals from fully evolving into their highest potential. This creates a ceiling, which essentially boxes us in to stay within our current paradigm. Likewise, this raises a few additional questions, what is a paradigm? How do you know you’re in one, and more importantly, how do you break through?
Everything Is Energy
We are guided by many ideas, beliefs, and habits that are invariably fixed within our subconscious, forming how we interact with the world. From the moment we are born, the beliefs and practices of our culture, society, and the world are impressed upon us. Likewise, for the first seven years, our minds are akin to a sponge as it literally soaks up every bit of information it’s exposed to. This is why we as adults must be mindful of what we say and do around children, as they will often repeat everything, down to the most minute details. This especially reigns true as they frequently repeat every word you say verbatim, profanity, cuss words and all.
Invariably, our consciousness absorbs and reflects it all; regardless of whether or not the outcome is feared or revered, as the law of attraction is no respecter of persons. In other words, all we hold in consciousness is continuously reflected in our outer experience, regardless of the frequency we vibrate.
Whether we entertain thoughts of lack and limitation or abundance, the universal law solely manifests our predominant frequency. This essentially boxes us in, regulating us to operate within a restrictive space of our own doing with little to no foreseeable way out. This essentially reigns true whether we are consciousuor unconscious This often leaves us stuck and bound to continuously relive the same narrative without a path forward to change.
The Power to Change
Only through our recognition and acceptance of our inner power can we truly free ourselves from the old patterns and habits that no longer serve. We are energetic beings with the innate power to co-create with the universe through the creative energy of thought. Courtesy of the Law of attraction, thoughts emit a frequency that magnetically attracts the people, circumstances, and events that vibrate at the same predominant frequency for you to manifest your desires thoughinto physical form. Everything is energy, and whether conscious of it or not, every thought that we entertain generates an energetic vibration that magnetically attracts all required to materialize our thoughts into tangible form.
The frequencieswe largely emit more often than not misaligns with our intention. In other words, we can wholeheartedly desire to usher in financial wealth and abundance and emit a frequency that aligns more with the vibration of lack and limitation than abundance. Likewise, universal intelligence only operates on an energetic level. Therefore, regardless of how strongly we desire to effect a dramatic change within our lives, we will continue to get more of the same unless change our predominant daily frequency by.
How To Vibrate Higher Daily?
Increase Awareness
You should increase your awareness of where you are placing attention and notice if you are entertaining thoughts primarily focused on the things you don’t want to happen.
Release Judgment
When we seek to release and embrace new patterns, there is a strong probability that we will have some missteps along the way. Old habits die hard. In other words, change will not happen overnight. It is only through consistent concerted effort and persistence that we can affect new habits.
Practice Acceptance
A common misnomer regarding acceptance infers that it equates to agreement. One must first agree before accepting anything. Thankfully, we do not have to forcibly use the power of will or force to coerce or conjure others to align with our thought vibration. We simply need to accept things and people just as they are.
When doing the inner work to shift our thought patterns, we often experience discomfort whenever it appears that we need to make more traction. Remember to be gracious with yourself, accept things as they are, and remain steadfast and persistent in your intention in spite of appearances until it materializes into physical form.
Persistence
As with any new practice, change does not magically happen overnight. We must first impress a new pattern onto our subconscious mind to create a new paradigm. This process is not an easy task.
You will experience missteps and repeatedly revert back to old habits. Despite your frustration, remain persistent and consistent with your efforts, and continue to visualize the fruits of your labor.
Whenever you miss the mark, begin again, and again, and again. Continue to increase your awareness of your thoughts, and persist beyond the distractions and frustrations. Know that it may appear as if you experience more failures than successes. However, Thanks to the power of repetition, the more you remain steadfast, continuing to hold the vision of your intention, the sooner you will notice that it progressively becomes easier and easier to shift your thoughts to align with your intention.
