New Years Resolutions vs. Intentions
Practically everyone desires to grow, evolve, and unfold into their highest and best self. This drive is often so magnetic that it is largely why so many consistently commit to investing the time, energy, and effort to repeatedly set New Year’s resolutions time and time again, despite its relatively low success rate. It is a well-established fact that most who set resolutions lose interest within the first few weeks of the new year, allowing their intentions to fall by the waist side, never to be thought of again until the start of yet another new year.
Interestingly this raises a very important question. Why do so many lose sight of their resolutions so early in the new year? Many can attest to wanting and doing something solely because the calendar advances to a new year are completely different. Outwardly it seems easy to adopt new practices that should technically be able to evolve into sustainable habits that will result in actualizing your intentions. Only bridging the gap between desiring to do something and doing it consistently can prove a daunting task.
New Years’ Resolutions, also known as intentions, are one and the same. In other words, resolutions and intentions are the same regardless of whether you set your intentions at the top of the year or on any of the other 365 days of the year.
Manifestation Demystified
Everything is energy, and whether we are conscious of it or not, every thought we think and entertain generates a frequency that magnetically attracts all required to materialize our thoughts into tangible form. Thoughts are units of energy that emit a frequency (aka law of attraction) that magnetically attracts the people, circumstances, and events that vibrate at the same predominant frequency.
In other words, one must first vibrate at the frequency of the things in which they seek to manifest. Hence, the law provides an electromagnetic field which magnetically attracts and orchestrates the situations and circumstances necessary for it to materialize into tangible form.
Contrary to popular belief, there is not a moment that goes by where we are not manifesting. Every thought and emotion generates a vibratory frequency that perpetually attracts more of the same. Likewise, everything we focus on expands as energy goes where your attention flows. If we continuously focus our attention on the presence of a lack and limitation, we invariably attract like substances that are congenial to the nature of our thoughts.
The more we recycle disempowering thoughts, engage in negative self-talk, and entertain every other low-frequency thought unit, the more we relinquish our inner power subjecting ourselves to endure undue suffering. If given a choice, no one would consciously agree to subject themselves to its the downward-spiraling effects.
Most are unaware that our persistent habitual thoughts are solely responsible for the current state of our reality. Thankfully knowledge is power, and when you know better, you do better; at least, that’s the overall intent.
The Secret to Making Manifestation Work for You
If you change your thoughts, you invariably change your reality. We can only truly free ourselves from old habit patterns that no longer serve through our recognition, and acceptance of our inner power. The more we consciously increase our awareness (aka mindfulness) around our thoughts and perpetual habits without judgment, the more informed we become of what no longer serves.
Additionally, to access the law of attraction, we must energetically feel into the belief that it is already here now, as the law can only magnetically attract our desires when our predominant thoughts, and habits, align with the feeling (aka vibration) that we are already living in our desired reality.
More often than not, the object of our desire resides at a much higher frequency than our current reality. Therefore, we must first raise our vibration (aka, vibrating higher) to the level of our desired intent by using our imagination to attract the objects of our desire. In other words, we must first wholeheartedly believe (aka harmonize with the frequency that it is already a fact) that whatever we seek to achieve is already here.
Understandably this goes against practically everything we were taught. Take the age-old saying “seeing is believing,” which affirms the collective belief that one must rely solely on their physical senses' as tangible proof before we can fully believe in its existence. This means we have to unlearn practically everything we were taught regarding thoughts.
The prevailing belief is that things and people are solely responsible for the substance of our reality. Our inner environment is reflected in how we interact with ourselves and the world around us. Therefore the secret to manifesting your desires is feeling into the wish fulfilled.
